What is an Air Poker Run?

An Air Poker Run is an organized charity event where pilots and airplanes travel to pre-selected destinations and receive a playing card in a sealed envelope at each destination. In this case we will be playing 5 card stud. At the end of the run, the three (3) entrants with the best 5 card poker hand will win a prize of Cash and/or Merchandise. There will be a special prize for a hand of 4 Aces!

Poker runs usually require a fee to enter and the proceeds go to charity. There will be an awards lunch held in honor of those who participate in the event immediately following the return of all aircraft. This event is not a race and not a rally, a Poker Run is a game of chance.

Registration is limited to the first 100 entrants!

What is the cost?

$100 registration fee to play the game (flying not required to play). Save $25 if you register and pay on-line.

Stuart (SUA) to Fort Pierce (FPR) 20 nautical miles
Fort Pierce (FPR) to Vero Beach (VRB) 10 nautical miles
Vero Beach (VRB) to Okeechobee - (OBE) 33 nautical miles
Okeechobee (OBE) to North Palm Beach County (F45) 42 nautical miles
North Palm Beach County (F45) to Stuart (SUA) 20 nautical miles

Total - 125 nautical miles

FBOs are encouraged to donate or at least discount fuel to participating pilots.

Why?
